I have notices two tendencies here, and on other sites. Many people have very little information in their profile, or when they make contact, seem to have not read my profile.
For the first, I would wonder what type of response is expected. This type of site does attract many that are less than scrupulous. A minimalist profile raises flags. If you are new, and don't know what to say, say that and then have a look at profiles that appeal to you and makes yours similar.
For the second; this just makes you look lazy. Read the profile before you respond. Write an attractive email that will appeal to you. Take some time, your efforts will be rewarded
