There is something that makes me feel secure and confident in knowing my partner is comfortable asking me to do what they like and it motivates me to do it. However, I don't feel like I need to be put in my place or have my partner's will forced upon me or treated like a weaker person that needs guidance or to be ordered around. I feel confident in taking orders because it's what I want to do in bed and love that I am filling a role my partner wants me to play, but always as an equal. Maybe that is the difference between a "submissive and a "slave".
