We are heading to New York City. Home of the original 70s swing club (Plato's Retreat). Sad to see the websites of many of the current clubs feel very dated. Seems to be more of an underground party scene (too much for a weekend warrior type trip). Anyone have any thoughts on the clubs that are there? Checkmate? Bowery Bliss? Pendulum? Caligula?
