Hi I have an important but awkward question. How often do most get tested? The whole panel or specific infections ? And where in the Hamilton Halton area is a convenient clinic that will also provide written results. We are good - no problems - tested at our family dr. But would like to find a place to test more frequently.

Toronto is easy but out here (Hamilton) it seems you gotta be a street person to have easy free testing

Thanks.

We use We do have to pay for it but it is done all online to get the lab orders done. Then you can print off the order and take it to the local clinic you selected. The results are uploaded to your account where you can print them off.

Please note when you ask to be tested there is one test that not included Herpes !!! Hsv 1 or 2 unless you ask for the test it’s not on the usual panel most have it and have not clue it’s hard to get results as the rules of the sti change but you can get it from any activity where body fluids touch

I take PrEP and it is mandatory to have STD tests done every three months to renew your prescription. If you're not familiar with it, PrEP stands for pre-exposure prophylaxis and is a prescription medication typically taken daily to reduce the risk of acquiring HIV.
A quick search for STD testing in Hamilton returned the Atwell Centre, Better2Know, Hamilton Birth Control and Sexual Health clinic among others.
