Hey everyone,
Just wanted to shout-out to those that may not realize a few things about their profiles, wrong information and/or things to double-check. Ever wonder why you don't get any messages from people that actually are a match, or you are getting all the wrong kind of attention??
- If you are looking for local people, please ensure you have a LOCATION set in your profile.
Very frustrating finding a profile looking for local friends, only to see their location set to "not specified". Are you expecting everyone to write you to find out where in Canada you are? - If you are a couple, and are looking for another couple, please have photos of your male half too. This goes without saying if you are straight, but some people wonder why they can't get matches if they don't post pics of the male half. Nobody is interested in a profile where the male doesn't exist, especially the lady-half. Fully clothed, no face is fine. Just post something to give an idea of body-shape size. Mrs here is driven crazy by profiles that read well, but no pics of Mr.
- Please double-check your "Seeking" area of your profile. If you are NOT looking for single guys, UNCHECK the "straight or gay male" checkbox. We've run across way too many profiles that say "NO SINGLE MALES" in the write-up, yet have the "straight or gay male" checkbox checked. What gives? Which is it? Are you wondering why your inbox is full from single men? This would explain it. While you are there, double-check all the other settings too!
- If you've covered the above, please do take a moment to add a bit of content to your profile. So many profiles that say something like "We're looking for horny people like us", then do absolutely nothing to describe themselves or what else they are looking for, what they enjoy, or what their personality is like. Profiles without any personality to them, tell us exactly that.
- Have some photos. Clothed body-shots without face shown are totally fine, people just want to get an idea of what your general look is about.
- Please add your own pet-peeves below! Happy New Year, and Happy searching.
