I am curious if there is anyone that participates in either lifestyle. My wife and I identify with Hotwifing but often get told in discussions that Cuckold and Hotwifing is the same, we disagree with this as we are not interested in humiliation, caging or withholding. There is always a debate in any lifestyle of the categories, however generally speaking these designations are 2 separate and distinct things, and within each there lies a spectrum of engagement between all 3 partners. The similarities is that they both have the element of sharing the wife with the "Bull" or "Boyfriend". With the hotwife lifestyle you tend to have a hubby who may like to watch, engage in play to some extent, or chooses not to participate in any capacity. I find with husband of a hotwife like to feel equal or in control of the dynamic. Now cuckolds also like to watch, engage in play or choose to not participate as well, however there is the potential element more of a beta or sub nature of the husband or cuckold. You do have stag or more serious cuckolds that range from less to more control by the "Bull" in various capacities. Main thing is that it doesn't matter what label you give yourself, just choose the playmate that suits and respects what you seek in a play session(s). Have fun and be safe.

I've been looking into these two realms as well. I first heard of Cuckolding from the John Irving novel, The World According to Garp, but didn't quite get it. Then in an episode of Letterkenny there was a couple that talked about it so I did a bit of researching. Like some of you here I was not turned on in the least about the elements of humiliation and beta-male, etc of Cuckolding.
